The answer
Compressive strength alone does not determine concrete quality. A concrete mix may achieve the required strength while still containing microscopic capillary pores that allow water and aggressive chemicals to penetrate.
These pores increase the risk of reinforcement corrosion, chemical attack, and premature deterioration.
SIO92 Micro Silica helps refine the concrete microstructure by filling these voids and promoting additional C-S-H formation. The result is a denser, less permeable concrete with improved durability.
